History

1997. Patrizio Cappelli opens his tie atelier in Naples. E. & G. Cappelli - his parents' initials. No family heritage in ties: Patrizio learned on his own, through obsession.

English fabrics exclusively - silks, wools, cashmeres from top British weavers - worked the Neapolitan way. 5-fold unlined construction, full-length slip stitch, hand-rolled edges. Each tie made by Patrizio and his small team.

What sets Cappelli apart is accessible bespoke. Client picks fabric, width, length, construction. 147 pages on Styleforum. Custom ties run €120-180. Absurd value for handmade Neapolitan work.
