History
HAZET's story begins in 1868 in Remscheid, Germany, when 27-year-old Hermann Zerver founded a small forge. This wasn't a startup adventure, but hard graft, initially producing plane irons and hinges from his home. The name, an acronym of his initials H.A. Zerver, forged its own reputation. By the 1930s, the brand specialized in automotive tools, even acquiring a car in 1913 to better understand mechanics' needs. After its factory was nearly destroyed in 1943, HAZET rebuilt and innovated, notably with tool kits for the VW Beetle and the iconic 'Assistent' workshop trolley. Today, the fourth generation continues this tradition, blending drop hammers with collaborative robots.
