Marol
Artisanal shirts from Bologna since 1959. Hand-sewn, hand buttonholes, handmade collars and cuffs. Egyptian cottons, linens, Como silks.
Philosophy
Buttonholes by hand, one by one. Collar mounted by hand. Invisible stitching. That's how shirts were made. That's how we still make them.
History
1959. Bologna. A shirt workshop opens in the Northern Italian shirtmaking tradition. Every shirt hand-sewn, buttonholes hand-finished, collars and cuffs handmade.
Over half a century of shirt expertise. Materials sourced obsessively: long-staple Egyptian cottons, Irish linens, Como silks, Swiss poplin. Each fabric chosen for hand, durability, wash behavior.
Marol makes no noise. No advertising, no influencers. Distributed through the finest menswear shops in Europe, Japan, the US. What sets Marol apart: buttonholes are hand-embroidered one by one. Collar mounted by hand. Invisible stitching. Time, craft, and Egyptian cotton. No shortcuts.
