Mes Chaussettes Rouges
Luxury Parisian socks since 2009. Lisle thread, cashmere, silk. Bespoke workshop in Paris.
Philosophy
Cardinals wear red on their feet. Napoleon wore silk. What are you wearing?
History
2009. Childhood friends Jacques Tiberghien and Vincent Metzger start reselling the iconic socks made by Italian tailor Gammarelli - the papal outfitter. Red Lisle thread socks worn by cardinals.
From reselling, they move to creating their own collections: Lisle thread, cashmere, silk, merino. Then the masterstroke: a bespoke workshop in Paris with a knitting machine in the heart of the city. Custom colors, patterns, initials. Bespoke for feet.
The brand acquired a pair of silk socks worn by Napoleon Bonaparte himself. Not marketing - a real artifact. Now the French reference for luxury socks.
