Orban's
Entry-level Goodyear welt shoes, Spanish OEM, Paris since 2015
Manufacturing outsourced to Andres Sendra in Spain. Same OEM as Loding, Malfroid, Markowski and many DTC brands. No proprietary know-how.
Philosophy
Entry-level Goodyear welt shoes, OEM Andres Sendra (Spain), French leathers. Democratizing Goodyear welt at 160 euros.
History
Paris, 2015. Founded by a French footwear veteran - same man behind Septieme Largeur and Markowski. Orban's is his entry-level proposition: Goodyear welt at 160 euros, made by Andres Sendra in Spain, French-origin leathers.
Same model as Loding, Malfroid, Morjas, Meermin: French brand on Spanish factory shoes. No proprietary manufacturing. 'One of the best value in the segment.' What distinguishes Orban's? The price. That's it. And that's already something.
Iconic Products
Mayfair (double boucle)
Signature double monk. Goodyear welt, French leather, 160 euros. The most popular model. Hard to beat at this price for Goodyear welt. The entry point.
Epson (bottine)
Leather boot. Same Goodyear welt construction, same accessible price. The logical complement for winter. Decent for the price.
Richelieu classique
Entry-level Oxford. Goodyear welt, full-grain leather, 160 euros. Same shoe as Loding or Malfroid, from the same factory. The difference is price, and Orban's is often the cheapest.
