History
Rucksack Village is James Kamo: one craftsman, one workshop, bespoke bags. Kamo has always been obsessed with bag aesthetics, and eventually turned that obsession into his job. Every rucksack is bespoke: the client chooses materials, dimensions, and details. Production is entirely handmade. Carryology spotted him and commissioned three custom bags for an editorial project, which gave him immediate visibility in the carry community. The positioning is firmly artisanal and durable, and Kamo emphasizes functional design and responsibly sourced materials. It is micro, it is discreet, and it is exactly the kind of brand Le Guide Sulkowski exists to bring to light.

Custom Rucksack
The core of the offering. A fully customizable rucksack, handcrafted to client specifications. Materials (X-Pac, Cordura) are top-notch, construction is robust. Be aware that lead times can be long, and comfort might be limited for very heavy loads (over 25 lbs).
26L Travel Pack
A favorite among 'one-baggers'. This minimalist travel pack is praised for its durability and smart organization, featuring magnetic closures and a well-padded laptop sleeve. It offers excellent value for its quality. The downside? Color options are limited, and it's frequently out of stock.
