Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella
Historical eaux de cologne, perfumes, vegetal soaps, candles, aromatic preparations, and pharmacy-style care products.
Philosophy
Bridge long historical time with precise craft: ritual products made with high formal standards, where sensory pleasure matters as much as place-based history.
History
Santa Maria Novella traces its story to 1221, around the Dominicans in Florence and their medicinal herb gardens. Over centuries, the Officina turned that heritage into a Florentine lifestyle language spanning perfume, hygiene, care, and ritualized presentation.
The historical Via della Scala 16 site remains central to the brand's aura: part boutique, part living museum, and a showcase of codified Italian elegance. Signature creations such as Acqua della Regina, Melograno, and Tobacco Toscano anchored the house in the classical fragrance canon.
In 2021, Italmobiliare reached 100% ownership. The house retains strong heritage value while operating under a group-led international expansion model.
