History
Saint-Malo, 2000. Christine Defretin (architect) and Yann (sailor, racing boat preparer) found France's first workshop recycling boat sails into bags. Pioneer. Nobody does this in France at the time.
Idea from sailors themselves - fishermen always reused materials. Christine designs, Yann collects sails from Breton ports. 2021: Pierre Rousseaux takes over, opens new workshop in Dinard, refreshes collection. 100% French manufacturing. Free workshop tours since 2023. The Breton equivalent of Mafia Bags, with 25 years of history.
